It's a New Year!

We're back!

Today, we shared a story with partners about one time where we got hurt.  As each group shared, I put a bandage on each child's wrist.  A few students noticed right away that the bandage wasn't where it needed to be.

That's the lesson!  Students need differentiation!  Not every student needed the bandage on their wrist, but perhaps on their knee, leg, or elbow.

Some students need math shown a different way or they need a special place to sit or they need a post-it to help them remember something.  And is it okay?  YES!

This bandage lesson always helps the kids understand students need differentiation and that's okay!
