What you see in the video is the class grabbing dictionaries left and right to figure it out...do they know yet? Nope! Maybe after reading this post, they will...(by the way, it was hat day.)
According to the dictionary, a gar is "any of various fishes with a long body like that of a pike and long narrow jaws" (from wordcentral.com)
We have these in our area lakes. They feed at night. If you go out at night and shine the light on the water you will see numerous "Gar".
